Longtime South Dakota Broadcaster Writes Book

For 40 years, Mike Henriksen has been a well known radio and television voice in South Dakota. He also hosts his weekly Sportsmax program, where he interviews sports figures with regional ties.
Now Henriksen has put 15 of those interviews on print in a book called "First Person...legendary South Dakota Sports Stories. The book just became available this week.
The subjects are both young and old. Some are sports stories, and some go beyond that. And they all have a story to tell.
"There are a ton of stories out there, and when you do a radio interview, maybe the family will get a CD copy, but otherwise it's gone. I wanted to put it down permanently. Just another way to preserve South Dakota history." Henriksen said.
If you would like to purchase the book, go to Mariahpress.com Henriksen's Sportsmax website.
he'll also be having book signings in the weeks ahead throughout the state.
