Regents approve $26 million DakotaDome renovation

VERMILLION, S.D. (KSFY) - The Board of Regents has approved a $26 million renovation of the DakotaDome at the University of South Dakota.

The plan was passed during a meeting in Sioux Falls on Wednesday.

Plans include expanding the football locker rooms, replacing the portable bleachers with permanent seats and additional restrooms and concession areas.

The project still needs to be approved by the Legislature.
