A campaign office for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will be opened Saturday in Sioux Falls.

The office will be open from 2 to 4 p.m. to allow people to learn about efforts to spread the candidate's message.  Obama's state director, Matt McGovern, wouldn't say how large the staff is, but he says many people have volunteered to help the campaign.  A spokesman for Republican presidential candidate John McCain says there are no current plans to put a campaign office in Sioux Falls.

But Tom Steward says he's confident that McCain's message will be spread to South Dakota voters through grass-roots efforts.
