KSFY Tracks Crime Trends In Your Neighborhood With "Burglaries & Break-Ins".

By Brian Allen

In tonight's "Burglaries & Break-Ins" report; someone is shooting at moving cars in Sioux Falls and police want to know who it is.

Also, a 30-thousand dollar burglary in Mitchell and so far, no suspects.

Police in Mitchell want to know who broke into a home in the 2700 block of Mentzer Court on November 8th and made off with over 30-thousand dollars in jewelry and cash.

So far, no suspects.

In Sioux Falls last night, two windows were shot out of two moving cars within just blocks of each other.

The shootings happened just after 10 near 10th Street and 2nd Avenue and at 11th Street and Grange Avenue. A pellet gun is believed to be the weapon. Sioux Falls Police Lieutenant Mark Jensen tells KSFY, "They both were reported 4 minutes apart so it's pretty apparent that it's probably the same suspect."

And in Aberdeen, police are warning the public to keep a close eye on their cars:

Since the end of September, 8 cars have been stolen while another 20 have been broken into and looted.

We invite area law enforcement wanting the public's help in solving a crime to contact us at BALLEN@KSFY.COM and we'll feature your story in "Burglaries & Break-Ins".
