A Phony Prescription For Drugs Leads To The Arrest Of A Sioux Falls Woman.

In our "Burglaires & Break-Ins" report, Sioux Falls Police make a drug bust in the drive up lane of a local store.

While investigators also look into a series of thefts from cars in the central part of the city.

Overnight two cars in the same Sioux Falls neighborhood were hit by thieves:

The area in question is the 500 block of South Euclid Avenue and the 500 block of South Menlo Avenue.

In both cases car windows were broken out: items stolen were electronics equipment and some work gloves.

This Lewis Store on west 41st Street was the site of an unusual drug arrest yesterday, after a woman pulled up in the drive-thru pharmacy and handed over what authorities say was a forged prescription for an unidentified controlled substance. Officer Loren McManus tells KSFYy; "They had the suspect who had come into the drive thru portion of the store and attempted to obtain a controlled substance with a false prescription script."

Taken into custody was 25 year old Lisa Nissen of Sioux Falls:

She's charged with obtaining a controlled substance by forgery.

In Aberdeen, police continue receiving public complaints about drunk driving:

The latest came tuesday with the report of a suspected drunk driver at US Highway 12 and 394th Avenue.
