Two suspects wanted for a Thursday morning home invasion in Sioux Falls remain at large tonight.

By Brian Allen

15 burglaries in Sioux Falls over the last seven days and nearly half of them were in neighborhoods in central Sioux Falls bordered by 4th Street on the north, 14th Street on the south, Walts Avenue on the west and Franklin Avenue on the east.

Also, someone is targeting vending machines, looking to make some quick cash and the search is on for two suspects in a Sioux Falls home invasion.

The home invasion happened early Thursday morning at this home located in the 700 block of South 4th Avenue.
A woman at the home opened the door for a friend then went to a back room.
When she returned, she found two people she didn't know: a man with a knife and a woman with a club.
The suspects stole her purse and her car keys but they did not take the car.
There were children in the home at the time.
Sioux Falls police also tell us more than 20 vending machines, bill changers and laundry machines have been broken into at 9 different area apartment complexes.
Money and food were taken from the machines.

Its too bad this happens, but seriously? Sioux Falls is not a "dangerous hole in the ground." When there are that many people, things are bound to happen. Sioux Falls is much safer compared to Chicago or even Des Moines. I don't think there is any more crime than any other city of the same size.

read the last four 'burglaries and break-ins' and count how many robberies have been committed in Sioux Falls the last six weeks. The place is a dangerous hole in the ground. Druggies and thieves, not to mention the sick pervs who nail their kids rule the roost.Makes me sick personally.
