In tonight's "Burglaries & Break-Ins" on Action News Live at 10.

We're coming to you from the 24-hundred block of South Holt Avenue to tell you about a home burglary where the victims were home at the time but someone still decided it was o-k to break in.

This last weekend, the victims...a married couple were at home...the husband was in the basement..the wife was upstairs.

The husband hears a house door open then his wife screams.

He runs upstairs and sees a man taking off with his wife's purse....the suspect got away...no one was hurt but obviously the home owners were rattled.

The only description police have is a black male between 20 to 25 years old, about 6-2 and 180 pounds wearing a brown shirt and tan shorts at the time.

A reminder, even if you're home, make sure your doors are locked so no one can get inside and rob you or hurt you.

If you know anything about this crime, call CrimeStoppers at 605-367-7007 and as always if you've been the victim of a crime, I want to hear your story: e-mail me: ballen@ksfy.com.
