KSFY and Creative Building Corporation continue to make progress and improvement on the one million dollar charity home in Grand Prairie development. The new owners will be only a couple steps away from just about anything they could ask for.

"Well you now it's all about location. So it's location, location, location," said Troy Stallings, President of Creative Building Corporation. 

As Creative Building Corporation continues to make progress on the home, it's what's across the street that's adding even more appeal.

"We came into the Grand Prairie and the location is correct. And the nice thing about the Grand Prairie is that they have their own clubhouse and it's the first one in the state," said Stallings.

With over a dozen amenities, including a workout room, an indoor and outdoor pool and even a guest suite, the club house is just a couple steps away and the future owners of KSFY's Charity Home will have full access.

"The way our lifestyle is, we have a membership, but we don't always get to the health spa or to the exercise facility, so having that right outside your backdoor is a big benefit," commented Stallings.

Once the home is finished, it will be open for the public to tour and the proceeds will go towards supporting the children's home society and the programs they provide. And for them, that money will make a big difference.

"Funding is tight. It's tight at the local level, the state level, the federal level. And we're feeling that pinch, we're feeling that squeeze. And every year we rely on the charitable dollars just a little bit more to cover our programs and help us serve the children," said Rick Weber, Development Director at the Children's Home Society. 

Once the home is done, KSFY will be selling tickets for tours. The money will go to the Children's Home Society and the house will go on the market.
