KSFY stopped at I-29 Brick, Tile and Stone on Friday where Creative Building Corporation was picking out the specific stone for the KSFY Charity Home.

There are hundreds of styles and colors to choose from. And what to put on the outside of the house is one of the most important decisions to make.

Troy Stallings from the Creative Building Corporation has selected stone from I-29 Brick, Tile and Stone for the exterior and it's all donated.

"Doing things like this for the community on behalf of the building industry and the construction industry is very good for our community," said George Birmingham, owner of I-29 Brick, Tile and Stone.

Stallings picked out a dark color to go with the home's Tuscan appeal.

"This is the stone we've picked and this is our window color to go on the front of the house," said Troy Stallings, President of Creative Building Corporation. 

And as more details are finalized, he keeps in mind who the KSFY Charity Home is for.

"Well I'm keeping in mind that this is going for a great charity. I mean that's why we're doing this whole project is to make more awareness for the Children's Home Society," said Stallings.  

The Creative Building Corporation is planning on having the stone on the home by spring and the Charity Home done by the middle of summer. Once the home is done, we'll be selling tickets for tours. The money will go to the Children's Home Society and then the house will go on the market.
