Growing peppers and tomatoes

By Lisa May

There's no better feeling than heading out to your garden to pick some vegetables for your supper and there are plenty of varieties on the market that are easy to grow.

One of the all-time most used vegetables is the tomato.
There are a lot of the old heirloom varieties that have been around for many years. There are also new hybrids to enhance the garden - whether it be grape or cherry tomatoes.

Another popular vegetable is the green pepper, a sweeter pepper.
And we can go all the way down the line with chili peppers, cayenne peppers, and of course the jalapeno peppers which can take a pretty good bite on your tongue.

One thing to keep in mind, most of the garden plants need a sunny area and it's fun to experiment with different things.

There are also a lot of good garden repellants for rabbits.
