Wheel Target Jeremy Coleman Arrested

Jeremy Coleman is the fifth fugitive caught by authorities after targeted by the Wheel.

By Drew Sandholm

A fifth fugitive has been caught after appearing on Action News' Wheel of Justice.

A convicted sex offender, 28-year-old Jeremy Coleman had continuously failed to register with the state. His last known address was in Minnehaha County and that made him one of Sheriff Mike Milstead's Most Wanted.

Action News targeted Coleman on the Wheel, asking for your tips on his whereabouts. You came through, thereby enabling authorities to locate and arrest Coleman.

According to Sgt. Jason Gearman, the Sheriff's Office arrested Coleman Friday night. In an e-mail sent to Action News he said, "A Crime Stoppers tip led us to 705 W McClellan Street in Sioux Falls. He was captured as he tried to flee out the back door."

Join area law enforcement officers to spin the Wheel of Justice every Friday on Action News Live At 10:00. The Wheel will land on a suspect wanted in connection with crimes in our community. Your tips could help officers get the information they need to make an arrest.

If you have any information on any individual featured on the Wheel of Justice, call Crime Stoppers at (605) 367-7007 or submit your tip online here. All calls are confidential.

maybe "me" should wake up and grow up. With so many perverts and idoiots out there the police need all the help they can get. I doubt with your intellect you would ever be able to half the job our police do. And I take offense to the term songbird, it is called being a responsible citizen that cares about the well being of our community.
