The count is at eight -- more than a half dozen fugitives put behind bars after targeted by Action News' Wheel of Justice.

This week, the Wheel targets Amy Cooprider. She's wanted by several agencies, including the Davison County Sheriff's Office and Mtichell Police Department. According to Mitchell Police Chief Lyndon Overweg, the 35-year-old is wanted for forgery.

"She stole some checks and has been passing them throughout several communities," said Overweg. "She's taken advantage of not only the person she stole the checks from, but also several businesses within the communities."

Cooprider has allegedly been passing the funny money in Sioux Falls, Mitchell, and Chamberlain.

"She's also wanted for absconding from parole. She was in prison and she has taken off and she is wanted by Parole Services of South Dakota," said Overweg.
