On average, women earn about 76 cents for every dollar men earn in the workplace and on average women will live about 7 years longer than men. KSFY Financial Expert Aaron Maguire from Reliance Wealth Management provides you with some helpful, financial tips for women.

Where should women start?
·Start with your estate plan
·Do you have a will or living trust?
·Do you have a living will?
·Do you have durable powers of attorney?
·If so, have you reviewed it in the last 3 years? 

What should women look out for with their investments?
· If you are married and your husband handles the investments…find out what you own.
· Make sure you have a list of all your investments, advisors, phone numbers, location, etc.
· If you have never done a financial plan on yourself, do one now to make sure you are heading in the right direction.
· If you are married, make sure your husband has enough life insurance to help you in the event of loss.

Are there other things that women should look out for?
· Knowledge is key…take the time to understand the basics!
· Build a good team around you…accountant, advisor, doctor…etc.
· If you are working, make sure you are contributing to your 401k.
· Minimize your debt.
