By Nancy Naeve

Seven years ago, a busy Sioux Falls wife, mother of two and full time attorney at Lynn Jackson Shultz and LeBrun decided to start a hobby to tap in to her creative side. Amy Arndt decided to spread her wings and make jewelry.  For that very reason she named her line WINGS and boy did the hobby grow into a booming business as it's popularity spread... across the state... across the country.  She and co-owner Lisa Uhlir are in 13 states and Canada... 74 upscale boutiques.... 17 in South Dakota alone. Amy has definitely dressed up my life.

Amy Arndt says, " I'm an attorney and co owner of WINGS jewelry. If you ever wondered what jewelry Nancy wears on the news, it's mine. Come help me make it Nancy. This is coral gem stone, smokey quartz and silver. Take the silver baby ball, then a daisy, now hide the wire. Move that over it. Move the gem down. I'll clip yours. There you take mine. Did you see that switch a roo?
My dad is an artist and my mom is very creative. I grew up in my Dad's art studio all my life and I needed a creative outlet. So late at night after I put the kids to bed I would make jewelry and it took off from there. My friends wanted to buy it and I was absolutely shocked. But it turned into a business that has grown 10 fold since that time.  I am a creative spirit. I do this mostly for as meditation and I love to create. So I took on a partner.  Lisa Uhlir she runs the office, she runs the business and I do the fun part.
So you pull this and clip it and there is your bracelet. Cheers."
