A fresh look at Halloween
Halloween is now the second most decorated holiday in the United States, only topped by Christmas. Whether you decorate with creepy eerie décor or with elegant beautiful Halloween product it is very available from a big variety of vendors. Your local Florist is no exception. Halloween has been a flower shop staple for years and this year is one of the best yet! Teleflora has teamed a very traditional petite pumpkin with a great bouquet that is perfect to make a great gift and a big impression. It is right in fashion with all the fall colors. The Royal Pumpkin can make an elegant statement or with a few changes you can have a scary stare – with all of the traditional spooky sides can make you look perfectly ghoulish. All in a royal purple pumkin! You can send it to your favorite Trick or Treaters or just take one home. All with flair that only your local florist can create. Call or stop in today. Halloween is coming right up Wednesday October 31, 2007. You should call your florist and choose from the large selection they have for your ghosts & goblins. I recommend that you use a fresh flower food solution. A floral preservative contains an agent to kill bacteria, an ingredient to acidify or lower the water pH (which makes it easier for the stems to take up water), and a nutrient to feed the bloom. Mix it according to the directions on the back of the packet. Follow those directions – 5grams of food for every pint. If you need to replenish the solution (the water if you will) do so with another mixture of fresh flower food. Do not place your Halloween arrangement in sunlight, in a draft or on any heat producing appliance. Your local florist can be a great source of information on how to care for your arrangements. The more you know the longer your fresh cut flower will last. All you have to do is call or stop at your flower shop. Satisfaction is only a purchase away.
