How To Care For Your Green Plants As It Gets Colder.During these colder days of Fall green tropical plants are a great way to make a drab day seem not so drab. Green plants are versatile and can be used for any occasion. These plants can be viewed from all sides when placed in the center of a table or a room. Whether it is an Arbacola or a Sheffilira they make a big impact on making your house more humid and easier to live in. They make a room cheerier and more enjoyable. As the air in your house dries out – now that the furnace is running more, you may need to add humidity to the area your plants are in, either with an atomizer or with a humidifier. Be careful to not have your plants in line with a heat vent. Most tropical green plants should not dry out. Most green plant like to have their moist to the touch. Not soppy wet – not bone dry.. Feed your plant, about once a month, with a general house plant fertilizer, such as Miraclegro by Sterns or Rapidgro. Place your green plant in a spot that gets plenty of bright light – with no direct sunlight. This plant will give back in the form of Oxygen more than the care they take. Avoid placing your Plant in direct sunlight, on heat producing appliances or in a cold or hot draft. Green tropical plants are great gifts – they will last for years. They have specific care needs. It is potted in a gold planter, however, the planter does not have any drainage at the bottom. Tonight, I took the plant out of the planter and discovered that there is still water at the bottom. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks Sunday, Nov 4 at 5:51 PM Stauddy@aol.com wrote ...How do I keep my plant leaves green in winter. Add a commentMost Popular |
