Dressing Your Green Plants for the Fall Season
During these chillier fall days dressing your green tropical plants for the fall season is a great way to make a drab day seem not so drab. Dressing your plants with oak or maple leaves, treated in glycerin & adding birch, maple or sycamore branches will make a dramatic statement. Whether it is an Arbacola or a Sheffilira they will look great and make a big impact making your house more humid and easier to live in. They make a room cheerier and more enjoyable. Sometimes just adding a few gourds or pumpkins will add to the festive season. Most tropical green plants should not dry out. Keep this plant’ soil moist to the touch. Feed it with a general house plant fertilizer, such as Mirgrow by Sterns or Rapidgro. Place your green plant in a spot that gets plenty of bright light – with no direct sunlight. This plant will give back in the form of Oxygen more than the care they take. Avoid placing your Plant in direct sunlight, on heat producing appliances or in a cold or hot draft. Green tropical plants are great gifts – they will last for years. They have specific care needs. If you have questions about any of green tropical plants – log onto KSFY.com and then on the In Bloom link and send a message I will be happy to send you information on how to care for your plant or go to www.tropgard.com for more information. Avoid placing your Plant in direct sunlight, on heat producing appliances or in a cold or hot draft. Keep excitement in your life with gifts of a green tropical plant. Whether they are for yourself or someone you care about. By Pat Gustaf AAF, SDCF, Gustaf's Greenery, Inc. The following comments do not necessarily represent the views of KSFY.com.
