Orange Scones

3 1/4 Cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbs. butter (or margarine)
3 eggs (beaten)
1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Tbs Grated orange peel
4 Tbs. melted butter

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. "Cut" in butter until mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs.
Beat eggs, cream, and orange peel. Add to flour mixture, mixing just until moistened. Shape dough into a ball. Knead 10 times on lightly floured work surface. Roll into a rectangle about 12 x 6 inches. Cut into 8 equal pieces and cut each in half diagonally. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with sugar.
