Nestled in the North East corner of Lincoln County, Harrisburg is only five miles away from the southern edge of Sioux Falls. The city has a population of about 2,700.It’s perfect for offering a variety of "small town" activities.

Harrisburg Mayor Reed Ramstad joined KSFY Live In The Morning anchors Valerie Gutierrez and Chris Studer in the studio. He talked about a number of things, including expanding the city's infrastructure with a water connection to Lewis & Clark for the City of Harrisburg.

Mayor Ramstad said residents are excited about the upcoming activities being offered by the city including the annual car show (June 7th) and Summer Recreation Program.

Mayor Ramstad said Harrisburg has seen a plenty of growth in the past five years, evident by the housing and construction boom.
