Alcester Woman Killed After Jumping from Moving Truck

By Associated Press

A South Dakota woman has died after jumping from the cab of a moving semi trailer truck on I-380 in eastern Iowa.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, Lori Clark asked the driver
to pull the vehicle over near Brandon at about 1:15 a.m. today
because she was feeling ill.

Officials say the driver pulled to the shoulder, but Clark
jumped from the cab before the vehicle stopped and was struck by
the trailer. Clark is from Alcester, South Dakota.
