First-Grader Killed in Skid Loader Accident

By Ellen Serr

The Hanson County Sheriff's office is reporting that a 6-year-old Alexandria child was killed yesterday in an accident involving a skid-steer loader.

According to officials, 6-year-old Adrianna Sellers was killed when a skid-steer loader driven by 25-year-old Marcus Degen collided with her while backing.

Mitchell Ambulance personnel transported Sellers to Queen of Peace hospital in Mitchell, where she was later pronounced dead.  Sellers was a first grader at Hanson School.  Officials say no foul play is suspected.
