The Charles Mix County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help finding Ken Lucas of Platte.

The 59-year-old was last seen leaving his office in Platte just before noon Friday. He had left a note saying he was headed to the Burke area, but hasn't been seen since.

Ken is the Mayor of Platte, and is 6 feet tall, weighs 210 pounds, has blue eyes and white hair. He is believed to have been driving a White 1992 Ford Explorer with License Plate number 17W547.

KSFY spoke to Ken's wife, Lori, who says her husband was going to Burke to meet with an insurance client and, according to his note, he was planning to be home by about 7:00 Friday evening.

She called authorities at 2:30 Saturday morning after waking up and finding that he had not returned.

She asks anyone with information to call police.

"There would be no reason for him to up and leave, something has happened, that he's out there. We just have to find him, but mainly we have to find just the person, because somebody knows something that maybe saw him, that could at least lead us to the right area. You know, we're looking at a lot of space to cover, there's a lot of ravines, there's a lot of, you know, ground to cover out there in Gregory County," said Lori Lucas.

Authorities from three counties, including Charles Mix, Gregory and Tripp are all searching for Ken Lucas and the white explorer.
