Aberdeen Snow

By KSFY News

An overnight spring snowstorm has dropped more than a foot of wet, heavy slow on parts of northeast South Dakota.  Stan Keefe, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Aberdeen, says Sisseton reported 12.4 inches on snowfall and Aberdeen received about 9.5 inches.

Other area reports as of midnight include 10 inches in Webster, 11.1 inches in Columbia and 3 inches in McLaughlin.  Keefe says the snow was coming down at a pretty good rate during a three-hour span overnight. He says the storm has moved east and is exiting the state.
