The South Dakota Highway Patrol says lab reports indicate, 24-year-old Lance Parliament, of Sioux Falls had no alcohol or drugs in his system at the time of his death.

Lance's accident had nothing to do with his driving record nor drugs or alcohol. As Lance's family mourns his death they get to hear about all of the "negative" things the news can find about him. I personally think that is ridiculous. What about all of his accomplishments throughout college, working 3 jobs to pay for college and all of the friends and family that loved and cared about him????

As much of a tragedy as this is I don't think there should be negitive comments posted like this without prior editing. If someone posted degrading comments about a deceased loved one , the hurt would be deep .

Lance should not have been driving, with the record he had, he obviously wasn't a responsible driver. Alot of people suffered due to this accident.

I have read so many horrible comments about Lance like: "he got what he deserved". Let's remember that he was someones son, brother, friend, boyfriend. Yes there were many injured that day but there was a 24 yr old that lost his life and will not walk away from this and those that loved him are left with the scars. He was not drunk or high, he worked 3 jobs and went to school. He loved life and his friends and family. My heart goes to those he left behind.
