Hillary Clinton Would Like To See Healthcare For All

Hillary Clinton speaks at a farm near Bath, SD Thursday.

Supporters gathered around the porch of Dennis Jones' Farms near Bath to get a glimpse of Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton Thursday.

One of the topics that bubbled to the top of the conversation was the idea of universal healthcare.

"If we don't do it, we're gonna have more and more uninsured people because everybody who has insurance, you pay a hidden tax for people who don't," said Clinton.

Clinton says that tax amounts to about $900 for the average family.

Instead, Clinton would like to see the same plan that now insures federal workers, be available to any American who wants it.

"I believe we need a plan that's not going to leave anybody out," said Clinton.

Clinton also talked about looking after the health of America's veterans.

"There is no doubt that we have tens of thousands of our young men and women coming back with wounds both visible and invisible," said Clinton.

Clinton says she would help to fully fund the veterans administration, claiming that right now it's a system that doesn't have enough resources.

"We're spending so much money and we can't even provide those basic services? That's just shameful," said Clinton.

Hillary Clinton Universal Health Care ( A Reform Plan) Plan is a Federal Plan for all Americans... On the otherhand, Obama "Supposely" Illinois Plan is for some Americans. Under the Obama Illinois Plan, most Health Care Insurance will be paid by either the Dead-Beat-Dads or Dead-Beat-Moms. If the Dead beat Dad or Mom decides not to work, then, the Child has no Medical Health Care Insurance. Child Support is the responsibility of the State and Local Government.

If you look at Hillarys track record you can see that she is the best pick for president. She never backs down from a fight.Everything she has been through espicially in the public eye has made her stronger and more prepared to take on the challanges we face as a nation. To be able to hold her head high and try to become the first woman president shows the country that she will fight for us as much as she fought to keep and maintain her own dignaty and integraty .She is to be admired

Hillary is the only candidate who speaks from the heart - not from a teleprompter. She is passionate and knowledgeable about the issues, not just healthcare, but veterans (she fought for wounded veterans to have their $4,000 signing bonuses reinstated after GWB took them away); she supports family farms(not corporate), and addressing current rising fuel costs and green energy development.

The Democratic Party elites are greatly underestimating Hillary's supporters, because they seem to think that after all that they have said & done to her we are going to fall in line with them in November to vote for their "choice". choosing against Hillary shows serious lack of judgement in deciding who is most ready on "Day One" to carry through with the duties of the Presidency. In their hearts they know it's Hillary, but their male arrogance will not allow them to accept her.

If she's president, more lies like the 8 yrs. Bill was president. Whitewater, Paula Jones, Jen Flowers, and cattle futures, to name some.

Women have been messed over for many years by the Democrat Party and it appears that millions of “US” will be returning the favor, should this primary season continue on its current path. Hillary Clinton is clearly the best choice to be our party’s nominee for President. As a life-long Democrat, age 55, I think the way my party has hosed Hillary and their most loyal and largest voting block; women intolerable. I am confident the Democrat Party will pay a severe price for this blatant assault.

How can you trust a candidate with such shady background as a President? My parents gave me my native name and I added my English name to show my dedication to my new country, U.S.A. when I obtained my ID at DMV. Why hasn't he done the same like a lot of immigrants? If Hillary does not win the nomination, I would vote for Mccain because I am sure he loves the country and I do not trust that an intern president would pick experienced capable cabinet as he would feel inadequate at times.

Nancy M. Are you kidding me? Hillary has 2 Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and 1 Vice-Chairman supporting her (along with more than 30 other Admirals and Generals) precisely because of her immensely strong record of support for Veterans. The VFW has given her an award for her support. You are way out of whack on this. See http://v4hill.com and click on play. Maybe then you will give Hill a fair shake. Plus Hillary is ahead in the popular vote -- more have voted for her than BO.

Hillary Clinton is the ONLY presidential candidate that is aiming for a health care system which ensures ALL citizens have health insurance coverage. Obama's plan leaves up to 15 million UNINSURED. For 15 years Clinton has been pursuing reform in the health care system & she has the knowledge/skill to bring about fundamental changes. To the previous person who commented - you sound like one of Obama's paid bloggers out trying to lure Clinton supporters via the "unity" sham. Forget it.

When it come to choosing a president I like to look at what a candidate has already done in their years of public serivice and not what they promise to do. I don't listen to the pundits or the news because they do not decide this election for me. Hillary is by far the best choice!

Obama's judgement will make him a strong and effective leader. Like his campaign, he'll surround himself with a smart and reliable team to take America away from the politics that reward special interests and the extremely wealthy. True democrats shouldn't be disenfranchised if their candidate comes in 2nd. Both candidates have said they're committed to uniting the party - we should too.

Hilliary has more experience when it comes to running a country than Obama and McCain combined. Anyone who can't speak intelligently and more importantly, REFUSES to deabate a fellow candidate shouldn't be elected as president. If Obama is afraid to debate Hiliary in the primaries, what is he doing running for president??
