Search Moves West For Missing Teen

By Robert Wilson

Law enforcement is searching for 19-year-old Brandon Swanson of Marshall, Minnesota, who was reported missing early Wednesday morning and law enforcement has been looking for ever since.

Friday crews moved west and are focusing on an area of the Yellow Medicine River in Lincoln County,

Minnesota where search dogs reportedly became interested.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Department says dogs have done all they can do in the search and they've sent them home.

The Lyon County Sheriff says once the river levels go down they will search the water for any sign of Swanson.

That could be done Sunday or Monday.

Searchers were able to find Swanson's car Wednesday by tracing his last cell phone message.

He reportedly called his parents Wednesday morning saying he went off the road, but hasn't been heard from since.
