Damage was reported when severe weather hit the town of Onida last night.  The Bank West branch in Onida lost part of its roof.

A bank spokesperson says part of the roof was peeled back and the bank had some water damage inside.  The branch will not be open today, but they hope to have the roof repaired and the bank re-opened by Monday.

The storm also knocked down trees and cut off the electricity in and around Onida.  Authorities say the wind threw around some large hay bales and farm equipment.  Golf ball sized hail and larger was reported near Timber Lake, and a tornado was spotted near Eagle Butte.
