HURON, S.D. (AP) - A motorcycle crash on a Beadle County road about nine miles north of Yale has resulted in a death.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Michael T. Peterson of Cavour was alone on a motorcycle when it went off the road on a
curve shortly after 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Peterson's age was not listed.

The crash was not discovered until shortly before 10 p.m. when a passing motorist spotted the wreckage. The patrol says the crash remains under investigation.

Michael was a good guy. He was a shoestring relative and have spent the last 8 or 10 years camping w/ him and at family get-togethers. He will be missed. SOMEONE, have your friends or mother, father, brother, etc, etc, ever drove with a few in them? Do they deserve to die? Are you ten? 1st of all..one can wreck a bike any time of day..car accidents happen all the time. And bikers ride alone sometimes as well. Doesn't mean they are drunk. I was in a motorcycle accident 10 years ago and have been in a chair since, i was on my way to work and avoided a oncomming car and went into the ditch. Even if he were drunk which I don't know that he was. How would that mean he deserved death? For all you know he could have been an alcoholic that couldn't help it or something.
