A Webster man went to the hospital after his fireworks show came to a scary ending. One firecracker led to a dangerous turn of events the spectators won't soon forget. Rubble is all that's left of Buster Sichmeller's shed today.

The owner of Buster's Resort was shooting off fireworks for a large crowd Thursday night when something went wrong. Germaine Withrow says, "It was a tube that tipped over with a firecracker that they had lit. It tipped over and went into the shed."

That shed was filled with other fireworks. Germaine says that one firecracker set off a virtual explosion. She says, "Actually what happened is one started and then it was like a grand finale type of thing."

Buster Sichmeller was hurt and taken to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Others ran for cover.

Germaine says, "My first reaction was to get my boys behind the van because we were right in the line of fire." For Germaine and the others at the firework's show, this is 4th of July excitement they could have done without. Germaine says, "It was very scary."

Thankfully, we're told Buster Sichmeller suffered only minor injuries.
