Search For Brandon Grows

19-year-old Brandon Swanson of Marshall, MN has been missing for months.

By Drew Sandholm

The family of missing Marshall, MN teen Brandon Swanson is turning to new techniques to help find their son.

The 19-year-old has been missing for more than two months now and search teams have found no trace of him. When Bob Berg of western Minnesota learned of Brandon's disappearance this Friday, he immediately called the family to offer his services. He's helping the Swanson family search for their son by using what he calls bio-magnetic attraction or divining rods. He claims the two steel rods give direction to magnetic fields, which Brandon might be transmitting.

After having searched for two months without having any luck, Brandon's father Brian is taking him up on the offer. He said, "This is another avenue. I guess I've never seen a person actually do this, but we need to give it a try because we haven't found any sign of him so far."

Berg says he's finding readings near Porter, which is an area that hasn't been searched yet.

As Berg continues to search, he like many people, just hope Brandon comes home soon. He said, "I feel so badly for the family. They're going through a terrible thing so I'm trying."

Has anybody looked where Brandon reported that he was, even though his car was found elsewhere?
