Today's standoff caught the attention of many people in central Sioux Falls. The area has been a trouble spot for crime in recent years, and after this latest incident, some say they're getting fed up.

Julie Schroeder lives in an apartment next to the Nite's Inn. She says there's always fights and problems in the area, especially with those who stay at the motel.

Julie has two young children and she says this standoff has her concerned for their safety and now she says she's thinking seriously about moving.

Julie Schroeder says, "There's people upstairs from me fighting all the time knocking on the windows and what not and I get real leery about it."
