Stun Gun Arrest in Brookings

A man was arrested early Friday after police say he tried to use a stun gun on another man in a downtown Brookings bar.

Police say the two got into an argument at the 9 Bar and Nightclub when one of them pulled out the stun gun.  But the shot missed, instead hitting a nearby garbage can.  Police later found the suspect, who was arrested for simple assault. Authorities say they found the stun gun and a knife in his pocket.
