Lotto Winner In Brookings

By Associated Press

A $700,000 lottery ticket has been sold in Brookings. The winner has six months to claim the jackpot in the Wild Card 2 multistate lotto game.

The winning numbers in Saturday's drawing were 1, 6, 21, 22 and
24, and the wild card was the queen of spades.

South Dakota Lottery Director Norm Lingle says the winner should
sign the ticket, put it in a safe place and contact the state lottery office in Pierre or Sioux Falls.

This is the sixth time the Wild Card 2 jackpot has been won in South Dakota.

Wild Card 2 is played in South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana,
and Idaho. Players pick five numbers from 1 to 31 and a face card,
and get two plays for $1.

The odds of winning the jackpot are about one in 1.4 million.
