One Killed, Two Injured In Crash

A Sioux Falls man is dead after he reportedly blew a stop sign and caused a crash near Colman Sunday morning.

It happened about four miles South of Colman at the intersection of 241st Street and 470th Avenue. The Moody County Sheriff's office says Oscar Tipler was killed in the crash after failing to stop at the intersection. He was 74 years old.

Darwin and Lois Klabunde of Crooks were in the other vehicle. Darwin was flown from the scene with serious injuries. Lois had minor injuries. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Why don't they mention the obvious factor in the accident-his age. We need to take seniors off the street once they reach the age of 70-how many more innocents need to be killed Ms. Herseth-Sandlin??
