Man Who Escaped Jail Arrested

19-year-old Jackson Sully has been arrested.

The South Dakota man who escaped Charles Mix County Jail and ran from the law has been arrested.

According to Jackie Brecke in the Charles Mix Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Sully is now behind bars. The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office arrested the 19-year-old fugitive over the weekend. Brecke says they found him in Sioux Falls.

Last Tuesday, he escaped from the Charles Mix County Jail at around 12:30 p.m. Sully faces faces drug, theft, and burglary charges. The Sheriff's Office says he was involved in a stolen vehicle and manhunt in the Platte and Dante areas this past September.
