Jones Charged In Bar Fight

His face bloodied, 43-year-old Vinnie Jones attacking 24-year-old Juan Berrera of Sioux Falls inside Wiley's Tavern last week.

Formal charges have now been filed against Vinnie Jones.

He's the 43-year-old actor involved in a bloody bar fight at Wiley's Tavern in Sioux Falls. In that fight, the criminal complaint says Jones hurt 24-year-old Juan Barrera of Sioux Falls.

After being sold to a British tabloid, surveillance video has surfaced on the Internet. It shows 24-year-old Juan Barrera of Sioux Falls leaving the restroom inside Wiley's. Then from out of the shadows, Jones appears. He can be seen repeatedly punching Barrera in the face.

Barrera tells KSFY that the attack came out of nowhere. He says he was playing pool with his friends, when one of them recognized Jones. Barrera says the actor didn't like that, so he slapped and punched 24-year-old Jesse Bickett of Montrose, SD.

Bar staff say Jones kept asking if there was a backdoor he could access.  According to Sioux Falls Police Lieutenant Bruce Bailey, that's when Bickett fought back smashing a beer mug in his face. Contrary to police reports, Wiley's staff who witnesses the fight say Bickett didn't grab a beer mug, but used a beer bottle or glass.

As a result, Jones faces three counts of simple assault. He is scheduled to be arraigned on those charges at end-month.

I'm just wondering what the heck Vinnie Jones was doing in Sioux Falls. Honestly, assuming Barrera is okay, he should consider himself lucky. Sure, he got beat up, but by an ex-profootballer and Hollywood star. Who can say that in South Dakota.
