The Cedar County, Nebraska Sheriff's Office tells Action News a Vermillion man died yesterday morning after becoming pinned underneath his car.

41-year-old Timothy Clark of Vermillion has been identified as the victim.

Sheriff's officials say Clark had his car up on a jack and a front tire removed. He was trying to remove some debris from underneath the car when the jack slipped and pinned Clark underneath. When paramedics arrived at the scene they determined Clark had died.

The incident remains under investigation tonight.
