Dirt bike slides under Dodge Durango, seriously injuring rider.

By Chris Studer

A motorcyclist is hospitalized after a crash Saturday afternoon.

It happened on N. Meyer Lane on the city's east side at around 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the motorcyclist was driving a dirt bike when he lost control and laid the bike down. But he and the bike slid into a Dodge Durango.

The 39 year-old motorcyclist, who's name wasn't released, was taken to the hospital with what police call, "Serious Injuries."

The driver of the Durango wasn't hurt.
