Swine Flu Can Be Passed To Hogs

Right now, health officials are closely watching the swine flu sweep North America.

Just a few hours ago, the South Dakota Department of Public Health announced that two cases feared to be swine flu came back negative. It seems that at least right now, the Rushmore State has avoided the outbreak. But health officials still have words of caution and we had questions, like can a human pass swine flu to hogs?

For the answer, Action News spoke with Dave Warner of the National Pork Producers Council. Warner says yes, the strain could be passed from humans to hogs.
