The Avera Sacred Heart MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Unit has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation as a result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology. The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. 

Evaluations are conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field.

The ASHH Radiology Department would like to recognize Marla Neukirch as the lead MRI Tech along with Chris Beltz, Ricardo Santos, Carol Wilson and Sara Peters who were instrumental in achieving this high honor.
