By Video KSFY

On scene at the fire in Tea, a Tea police officer who was doing traffic control for fire-trucks on the scene, was hit by his own squad car.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the officer was stopped, standing outside of his squad car, another car was stopped behind the officer's car on 271st street. When yet another car came from behind and slammed into it setting off a domino affect.

The officer was knocked to the ground, but luckily wasn't seriously hurt. The driver of the car that was hit, and the man's teenage daughter were taken to a hospital, her injuries don't appear to be life threatening. The two in the other car were taken to their family doctor by their mother.
