State Per Capita Income Growth Tops National Average

The growth in per-capita income in South Dakota last year topped the national average of 5.2 percent.  The Commerce Department says it grew 5.85 percent in South Dakota to $33,905.

Connecticut had the highest at $54,117.  Mississippi had the lowest at $28,845.
