WAKE UP WITH KSFY: Madison-Discover the Unexpected.

Whether you're looking for the perfect summer vacation get away or are going to visit Dakota State University, the Madison community has a small town atmosphere but is large on attractions.

Madison Mayor Gene Hexom joined KSFY anchors Valerie Gutierrez and Chris Studer in the studio.

He talked about a number of issues including an update on the construction of the new three point five million dollar outdoor aquatics center.

Mayor Hexom also talked about Madison 's emergency services coordination during a March fatal bus crash.
