Preparations are already underway for presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton's visit to Sioux Falls.

Vying for the Democratic nominee, Clinton will deliver a speech to South Dakotans around 2:15 Thursday afternoon. It'll all happen at Joe Foss Field's Hangar 1. South Dakota staffers are eagerly awaiting her arrival.   Senator Clinton has also requested a sign language interpreter.

"I think it shows South Dakota counts and that's exciting," said South Dakota campaign spokesperson Geoff Wetrosky.

Right now, staffers are working over night to set the stage for Sen. Clinton. She is expected to address up to 500 people, but how will she make her case to South Dakotans? Clinton is expected to speak about creating new jobs, ending the war in Iraq, and universal health care.

Back at her South Dakota headquarters, it seems there is a lot of energy for Clinton's visit Thursday. Supporters' kids made signs to display at her speech. Meanwhile, volunteers are making phone calls to registered democrats, inviting them out to see Hillary.

"A lot of excitement. People are excited that they're going to have a say in this election," said Wetrosky.

The event is open to the public and photography is permitted.
