The Consumer Product Safety Commission is now offering recall alerts through e-mail for parents worried about recalls. These alerts will tell you what item has been recalled, why it has been recalled and what can be done to fix the problem.

A simple form allows you to sign up for these alerts; you can find it on-line by clicking here.
