Man Hits Son with S-U-V

By Associated Press

A Sioux Falls man has been jailed for allegedly striking his son with a sport utility vehicle.  Police say the man claimed he'd sold the S-U-V to his 18-year-old but had not received any payments.  The boy was lying on the ground in front of the vehicle when police arrived.

Police say the boy was struck after standing in front of the vehicle as his father was trying to drive away with it.  The man's son had no visible injuries but was taken to a hospital to be checked.

His father was jailed for aggravated assault.
