Couple Accused Of Making Counterfeit Bills (AP)

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A California couple has been indicted on federal charges of making counterfeit bills and passing them at businesses in western South Dakota.

Federal prosecutors say Sean Woodward and Resa Woodward pleaded not guilty at their first court appearance. The couple was arrested at Spearfish in early April following reports of counterfeit bills surfacing in Rapid City and Spearfish. At the time of their arrest, police said they recovered $5 bills that had been changed to $50 bills.
