Swanson's car was first discovered last Thursday near State Highway 68 just northwest of Taunton, which is about 15 miles northwest of Marshall; near the Lincoln County-Lyon County line.

A ground search started in this area.

By Friday, in addition to the Taunton area, the search area began to move due west, more into Lincoln County, and the banks of the Yellow Medicine River. Search dogs were brought in and at first seemed to indicate they had hit on a scent.

This same area was also combed over by ground search teams on Saturday.

By Sunday, divers were brought in to search the actual Yellow Medicine River itself, between Porter and Taunton.

The same area is being looked at today and tonight, there is still no sign of Brandon Swanson.

It would be great if he was found safe and sound but as the days keep going by it looks more and more like that is not going to happen just hope the family can get some answers
