The clean-up is underway in Irene where four huge grain bins were no match for the storm.

Golf-ball size hail hit hard there. Truckloads of leaves litter streets and completely cover Bill Hanscom's lawn, who saw a funnel cloud.

"There was no rotation to it. It hadn't touched the ground yet and before it cleared the alpha field, it was back up in the rest of the clouds," said Hanscom.

The storm saved his house, but his neighbors weren't so lucky. Hail broke windows, leaving shards of glass on the ground and downed tree after tree. 

Things are no different in Centerville. Strong winds broke bricks free from an old building off Broadway.

Resident Nick Pingrey saw the tornado touch-down. He told KSFY, "I just seen a green and black out west and I seen a little rotation going on, so me and my friends decided to take a little cruise out there and within five or ten seconds we pulled over that sucker dropped."

When it did, it completely mangled irrigation equipment.
