Former Band Teacher Charged with Sexual Contact

According to court papers filed with the Lyon County District Court, a former Marshall Middle School Band teacher has been charged with sexually abusing a student over several months in 2003. 

Lori Ann Schulz of Faribault is charged with Second Degree and Fourth Degree criminal sexual conduct.

The student, a 14-year-old girl, says she was befriended by Schulz in 2003 when the sexual contact began.

you hear about all this simiular stuff about teachers and students...but when it becomes one that you looked up to...it becomes so real so fast and so scary to the point where you cant even imagine it. i know she would never do something like this.

Marshall needs to do a better job scanning their teachers. I know for a fact a former teacher had an affair with a student that started when she was a senior. Who polices this kind of activity when the teachers are doing this?
